The A's pulled off and 8-5 win in the opener and then erupted for an eight-run first inning in the second game, en route to a 15-0 victory.
Branch (8-11 overall, 6-6 in the Shoreland) was playing catch-up the entire day as Casco scored two runs in the first inning of the opener and led 6-2 heading into the bottom of the fifth.
The Blaze got RBI singles from Paul Smith, Brent Robinson and Mike Brey in the fifth to pull within one in the fifth, but would get no closer.
Casco tacked on two insurance runs in the ninth and Branch couldn't score after notching back-to-back singles leading off the ninth.
Chris Wettstein and Josh Lemke each had three hits, while Robinson and Brey chipped in two apiece as the Blaze finished with 12 hits in the opener.
The second game was all Casco as the A's sent 11 batters to the plate in the first inning and finished with 16 hits in the lopsided victory.
Smith, Dan Berres and Justin Otto accounted for Branch's only hits in the game.
