KEWAUNEE — Luke Kiel's RBI-ground out in the top of the fourth inning tied the game at 2 for Branch, but Kewaunee responded by scoring in each of the next five innings to collect a 10-4 win in Shoreland League action on Friday night.

Peter Liermann went 2-for-4 and scored on Kiel's groundout in the fourth, after Paul Smith picked up an RBI-triple in the first. Kiel also had an RBI-single in a two-run eighth inning for the Blaze (2-7 overall, 0-3 in the Shoreland League).

Brandon Selner's RBI single in the bottom of the fourth boosted Kewaunee back into the lead, and the Chiefs added two runs in the fifth and sixth innings, one in the seventh and two more in the eighth for the final margin.

Justin Otto took the loss for Branch, which will host Two Rivers at 2 p.m. today.
